I decided to organize/group my volunteer posts by activity so it makes sense and the pix flow nicely. One of the perks of being a volunteer is going on the tours, free of charge, when there is space available. 4 people from Sweden took our 7:30pm, 2 hour night tour and I got to go.
I have walked through the woods at night a few times, but not a tour at night. It was in English so I learned a lot as well. Tons of creatures come out at night, but one big one that I was hoping for came out, the sloth (pix on the right). Click here for more pix. They also do a bat and chocolate tasting tour which I hope to do next week.
I am pretty outgoing. I am a realist, though people confuse that with being a pessimist. I love to travel, discover the unknown, learn about new places and people and capture it all. I like to try everything!
I'm fairly open minded and able to connect with almost anyone. I think no matter how different we all may be, you can find one thing in common with others and that's what connects people.
I was born and raised in NYC. I have been traveling since I was born with family in Malta. I have been to at least 30 countries, and 35 states in the US.

Sloths are cool, I remember going on a night tour when I was there years ago and we saw one but he was way up in a tree!. Pics look great!
